The client sought to break into the rapidly expanding $200+ billion digital commercial insurance market for SMBs, but their legacy systems and manual workflows made it difficult to compete with digital-first providers. To meet rising customer expectations, they needed to deliver a seamless, end-to-end online experience that supported instant quoting, purchasing, policy management, and claims – all through a modern, intuitive platform.

Over a three-year engagement, Orion embedded more than 15 skilled engineers directly into the client’s product teams, providing full-stack support across front-end and back-end development using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and Salesforce. 

Orion also managed Cloud and SaaS operations, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support rapid product launches. By leveraging its Serbia delivery centre, Orion combined cost-effective, high-quality engineering with agile collaboration, enabling continuous innovation and faster time-to-market.
