David Winter

David brings more than two decades of expertise in technology with the majority being in cloud and AI partnerships. Through this experience David has shown a proven track record of building global ecosystems and driving enterprise transformation. As Chief Cloud & Strategic Partnerships Officer, he leads Orion’s Cloud and AI partnership strategy, forging alliances with hyperscalers, AI innovators, Tier 1 Consulting and strategic platforms to deliver measurable business impact.
He was a founding member of AWS’s Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), now the industry standard for cloud transformation, and later drove worldwide ISV partner sales acceleration at Google Cloud during the rapid adoption of AI. With deep experience across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and emerging AI platforms, he brings a unique perspective on multi-cloud strategy and ecosystem growth.
At Orion, his mission is to build the next-generation partnership ecosystem that helps enterprises navigate the shift from cloud maturity to AI acceleration.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Information Technology from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech.
