A leading global telecommunications company faced time-intensive challenges creating consistent, professional training materials across teams distributed in multiple regions, each with varying levels of English language proficiency. To address these challenges, the client partnered with Orion to implement AI-driven tools for training and learning content development. 

Challenge

Course development was slow and resource-intensive, with teams often unable to cover all required content. Variations in English proficiency across regions affected content usability and professionalism. Existing tools could not handle diverse file formats (TXT, MD, DOCX, PPTX, PDF) or integrate with internal document storage, creating bottlenecks. 

Solution

Orion developed an integrated set of AI-powered tools: 

  • LLM-based tools: Generate quiz questions, speaker notes, paraphrased content, summaries, glossaries, and slide layouts.   
  • Document DB-based tools: Retrieve relevant documents, images, tables, and charts from internal storage using semantic search and embeddings.  
  • Technology & Security: Utilized LLMs, Python, Gradio, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker isolation, and embedding-based search. 
  • Multi-format support: Handled TXT, MD, DOCX, PPTX, and PDF files. 
  • Secure deployment: Operates fully within the client’s internal environment, with no internet access needed, protecting sensitive data.
